“I will admit when first reading this book I was absolutely taken by the pictures. This is visually the most striking book I have ever seen! I then started reading and the words were even more striking the pictures. I’m a believer of always stretching oneself and purposely venturing out of our self-limiting comfort zones. Bee encourages the reader to open their mind, not be afraid, and try new and beautiful things. It’s not just about making soap – It’s about embracing your creativity and sense of wonder. Whether you’ve made one batch of soap or one thousand, this book will help you channel your creativity and stretch the boundaries of soap making like never before.”

"Bee Iyata of Sorcery Soap has touched me yet again with her eerie insight.  I first noticed Bee’s work over a year ago… images of her colorful and expressive enchanting creatures."  - Customer

"Perhaps it was my deep love for my childhood book, The Velveteen Rabbit and the magical and emotional presence I felt when reading it.  Bee Iyata unknowingly touched my inner child and sparked wonder and excitement every time I saw her images." - Customer

"Bee’s Soap Dough book "The Enchanted Book of Peculiar Ideas and Soap Potions" contains recipes and tool suggestions so you can create 3D images to adhere or insert into your soap. That is probably why you are reading it.  But let me tell you that those things, the tools of her trade, are only a tiny aspect of the enchanted book’s contents.  Bee writes in depth about inner presence, the state of mind and guides the reader to find their Muse.  Pure wisdom exudes from the very pages to gently bring us to the very place as an artist before we set out on the path of trying to hand mold soap." - Customer

"Bee clearly is one of the most thoughtful, patient and insightful artists of our time.  I would recommend this book to any artist of any medium…a book that can offer structure and gentle guidance to help free our minds and encourage walking with the Fairies and magic that our inner art can possess." - Customer

"I just finished reading Bee's book "An Enchanted Book of Peculiar Ideas & Soap Potions" and I thought it a magical read. I was expecting a 'cookbook' and a 'how to' but I was wrong. It is so much more. Bee has found a way to help the Muse come alive and inspire. Full of wit and charm, humor and wisdom it is the perfect read for anyone wishing to find their inner artist. The book focuses more on how to (and not to) enable yourself to create. I loved it!"

Sharon Boyd Chapman, Willow Bella Soaps

Bees' Books Give Us Secrets from Her Soul

To find the words that describe Bee's sharing of her craft with others is difficult. Growing up in Appalachia, I understand how the journey begins. My grandmother was blind at the age of six. As a child I thought she might be a witch as I watched her combine lard and lye to make soap for her laundry.
To truly tell you how far Bee has brought the art of soapmaking forward is
almost impossible to describe unless you have visited with an early soap witch cooking on a wood stove.
Bees' immense talent definitely comes from within. I would bet that she closes her eyes as she molds with her hands. Thank You Bee From my tiny light within.

    Homemade love in a book

Thank you for bringing this to a place we could never be more happier with a book. Wow you helped me put of my fears. I can't wait to figure out were my first book went to. I know don't say it. I just have to find that. Lol

    Not Just Books!

I purchased "An Enchanted Book of Peculiar Ideas and Soap Potions", "The Magic of Soap Dough", and "Soap Craft Inspiration". These are not just books! These are a journey to your creative soul. A Hand written note on the packing slip. Each book carefully wrapped in tissue paper. I was delighted to find in one of the books a hidden gem, a small drawing of a bird signed "Bee". The moment I held these books in my hands I knew that I was holding a piece of Bee. These books really are a foundational cornerstone to any creative endeavor.

I felt the book smaller than what I expected actually. Online seems to make items look bigger. Reading the book I wanted more tutorial style even though it had recipes, they were all together, and no photos of the final product for each recipe. I have yet to try one of the recipes. AND because I live so far and not in the same country the shipping was a lot and wonder if I went to a local bookstore would it have cost less to order it in. All in all it was $82 for a paperback.
