Sorcery Soap has added a new dimension to our skin care, Hocus Pocus Lotion.
This lotion is medium weight for body, face and hands.
Our recipe is simple, straight forward ingredients that we and you can understand to provide enough slip to glide on smoothly, non-oily, and beneficial to your skin.
I've never, not once, used lotion for only my face or my hands. I wanted a lotion that was good for my family and myself that was of benefit to my entire body. What we do to our face or any body part is what we do to the rest of our bodies.
This easy screw top enables every bit of this lotion can be use. Nothing will remain in the container, as all lotion is accessible.
Weight: 8 ounce
Scent: Green Hour
This scent has a base note of Anise, which is reminiscent of Absinthe. That is only one note of a complex fragrance, there is black currant berry, vanilla, and so much more. For this green fairy concoction we will focus on the green hour of this scent.
For the alcoholic beverage to be called Absinthe there are three herbs that must be present for it to be named so: anise, fennel and Artemisia absinthium, or wormwood.
Wormwood is thought to have hallucinogenic properties. At one time many thinkers and creatives of the day would sit in Parisian cafes sipping bright green cocktails and chatting or in deep discussion. One must have or acquire a taste for anise to fully enjoy this green hour of the fairy.
In the past drinking absinthe was called L’Heure Verte—the green hour—beloved of Oscar Wilde, Edgar Degas and Vincent Van Gogh a few who frequented these cafes.
- Top notes: Black Currant, Saffron
- Middle notes: Vanilla, Blackberry
- Base notes: Musk, Anise, Amber

This scent is named after Paulo Coelho author of The Alchemist.
A woody, earthy fragrance highlighted by a blend of warm spice, cedar, and lemon leaf with hints of smokey incense.

The only problem with this lotion is I have to hide it! My husband told me this morning I needed to buy a bigger bottle. The texture is perfect and it rubs right in leaving a silky sheen. Not greasy, just perfect. Light and spicy <3
Thank you so much! The wizard of lotion has just smiled as I read your review to him! :D My household is happy too, and he's working on larger containers. Blessings, Bee
I love this lotion! I have the Juicy Apricot scent and it smells exactly like it sounds - juicy. The lotion itself is thick and creamy, but not greasy. It absorbs into your skin quickly and feels so nourishing. I don't have any desire to make my own lotion, but I love handmade products, so this is a huge win! Sorcery Soap never puts anything out into the world that's less than 110%, so I knew it was going to be amazing before I even opened it. Do yourself a favor and buy some! ❤️
