A Day In the Life of this Soap Maker

All or most that has to happen:

1. Make coffee. Drink coffee.
2. Watch soap making videos.
3. Answer REASONABLE questions.
4. Delete UNREASONABLE messages.
5. Post thoughtfully. 
6. Read posts on facebook, instagram or other and look for ways to help.
7. Elevenzees coffee. (2nd cup.)
8. Take photos of new soap – set soap up with correct lighting etc.
9. Edit photos of soap.
10. Make soap video.
11. Edit soap video.
12. Share photos of new soap with thoughtful descriptions.
13. Write blog post(s).
14. Edit that same blog post by reading it out loud to my patient mate.
15. Troll through 1,000's of my soap images for that one that matches the blog post.
16. Make embellishments for new soap.
17. Make embellishments I’ll never use.
18. Prepare soap recipe.
19. Wait for lye/oils cool.
20. Prepare micas and design soap. 
21. Take dog for walk/hike (1-2 hours).
22. Prepare meal, eat and wash dishes, clean kitchen.
23. Answer more emails and/or questions posted. Delete unreasonable questions. (Emails that being, "give me..." are trashed.)
24. Participate in groups.
25. Search for inspiration if I did not find it on the hiking trail.
26. Print labels, wrap soap and take photos of soap.
27. Package free soap cookies.
28. Package free soap samples.
29. Make more soap cookies. 
30. Stare at Pinterest. Hope that inspiration happens. 
31. Get serious about inspiration... Stare at Pinterest some more.
32. Take dog out again.
33. Fold laundry.
34. Run vacuum.
35. Random chores, which means more laundry.
36. Settle in, meditate on new soap. Visualize all elements. Conjuring ideas, banishing all soap gremlins and inviting soap fairies. 
37. Photograph soap, AGAIN.
38. Do some thing, anything, else other than look at soaps, watch soap videos or read soap blogs. 

What I do when I’m not working:

1. Drink coffee.
2. Watch movies.
3. Walk dog.
4. Drink more coffee.
5. Continue watching movies.
6. Read about non-soap things.
7. Okay, watch soap videos.
